This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at an elementary school where a majority of students come from low socio-economic backgrounds.

My students have the great capacity to succeed as long as they are given the opportunity, encouragement, and the proper resources.

Despite the adversities they face, they continue to work hard, grow and to develop as lifelong learners. Their passion for learning always shines.

My Project

Writing is one of the most popular subjects in my classroom. I would love to add more tools and more supplies to my writing center to engage even more students, promote fine motor skills, and to instill a love for writing in my classroom.

A writing area with all the necessary supplies will entice students to unleash their inner voices in a more creative and fun manner.

A writing center will provide my students with a place to independently access their writing tools and materials at any time which will maximize writing time and add importance to writing.

The coloring materials will be used to add a more personal touch to their published writing pieces.

Please help me add a writing area that meets all of my scholars needs!
