This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first graders love to share their ideas, talk about adventures, inform about their trips and tell stories! They love to color and connect their pictures to their writing to give readers a better "view" of what their writing is about.
Journal writing is a fantastic way to engage students into writing and improving writing skills.
My students will have the opportunity to write daily during journal writing time and will be excited to use their new notebooks, crayons, and markers. The special, first grade composition notebooks, help support how they form their letters, leave spaces between words and write lower and upper case correctly.
Writing tools like crayons and markers also encourage students to share more of their fabulous writing ideas and include colorful pictures with lots of details as well as give their writing a nice look.
Please help my students grow to be the next future authors and illustrators.
