My Students

Over 85 students come to my classroom in order to create, re-enact, perform, simulate, and do social studies. My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and in total they speak over a dozen languages at home. As an educator, it is my hope to bring all of their unique perspectives out into the open. Through this exposure to diverse ideas and opinions, we are able to come together as a community.

When my students leave, I want them to walk away with an appreciation for all that the world has to offer.

It is through our shared experiences that we are able to come closer together as a class and community. We then are able to tackle problems previously thought impossible when working alone.

My Project

Inevitably around the start of the new year our classroom begins to run out of supplies. With your help funding this project our classroom will have enough writing supplies to last us well into the next school year. Our classroom utilizes a printer often and the ink requested in this project will go to good use as student revise rough drafts and share their printed work. One of the most basic of supplies every classroom needs are pencils. The clipboards and pencils will make it easy for students to get to work right away, and take their work on the move.

A classroom without writing supplies is not complete!
