My Students

I have an awesome group of kindergarten students who come to school every day prepared and ready to learn! They never give up! Coming to school for a full day has been a huge change for them, but their motivation to learn keeps them going! They are little sponges and the growth I've seen in them this year is phenomenal!

The only thing missing from our awesome class is a few extra supplies that will enhance their learning environment!

My Project

Hurricanes hit hard in our area and require us to rebuild, but we're up for the challenge! Harvey hit us hard, but it isn't going to stop us from becoming creative writing authors! Our classroom could really use a new shelf and writing station! Creative writing is a vital skill in the educational growth for kindergarteners and first graders! This station will help develop motor skill for the younger students and develop letter formation. From that we can move to writing words and sentences! From there we start creative writing with small prompts and creative stories! It doesn't take long for these young authors to take off writing with their creative imaginations! All they need are the right supplies!
