Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how my students are creative, thoughtful, and eager to improve their writing when given the right tools. This project focuses on providing resources for writers workshops, peer reviews, and the feedback process, which are essential for their growth as writers and thinkers.
My goal is to foster a classroom culture of reflection and continuous improvement.
By providing these resources, I hope to help students develop strong writing skills, build confidence in their abilities, and learn the value of feedback and revision.
The specific items I’m requesting—file folders, construction paper, and organizers—will make a huge difference in their learning. The construction paper will be used for brainstorming and drafting, as well as project creation, while the file folders and organizers will help students save their work, track their progress, and reflect on their growth each quarter. These tools will create a structured yet flexible environment where students can collaborate, give and receive feedback, and take ownership of their learning.
What makes my students special is their willingness to support one another and their excitement about sharing their ideas. With these tools, they’ll be able to organize their thoughts, celebrate their progress, and grow as writers and learners. Thank you for helping us create a space where feedback and reflection thrive!
