This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
During the Pandemic, it's been very challenging to teach from home in a restricted environment and with little resources. Most of my students come from a low income families and diverse backgrounds with great parental support. I have a wide range of academic abilities ranging from low to high. My students are 8 years old. My eager students would better interact with more resources available to them, as to mimic my in-class teaching style. I have tried websites to include in my lessons however its very hard for students to go in between screens and stay on task.
My Project
I need a reliable writing pad to be able to interact with students during virtual learning. Having a writing tablet will help me specifically in math to demonstrate problems and be able to provide one on one intervention that a computer program is unable to do. This allows me to show step by step learning at a pace my students can learn from.
This tablet will allow for me to provide one on one instruction tailored to each students pace and learning needs in a variety of subjects and topics.
