Writing Our Way To Financial Literacy

My Students

The students I teach are hard working 3rd, 4th and 5th graders in a low income, rural, western Kansas Title I school with high free and/or reduced-priced breakfast and lunch rates.

My students are dedicated, driven and determined to succeed no matter what obstacles they may face.

I continually strive to provide up-to-date technology and hands-on experiences with that technology in order to ensure that each child reaches their full learning potential in the best possible working environment inside my classroom.

My Project

My students and I were lucky enough to have a project funded over the summer for an Apple iPad that we are able to use in our classroom across our curriculum, but thanks to an amazing match, we have been especially interested in increasing our financial literacy this school year and would love to have this Apple pencil in our classroom in order to use with our new iPad. Since we are a 1:1 iPad school as well, we also need cleaning cloths to make sure our technology is in the best shape possible in order to keep our learning on point.

We would love to have this apple pencil in our classroom to continue on our path to increasing our financial literacy!
