Writing Materials for Wonderful Writers!

Help me give my students tools such as journals, pencils, crayons, markers, and paper to write and share their own stories.

My Project

Since Covid and online learning, my students have been very tech saavy, but haven't found joy in writing. I want to provide my students the tools to get excited about telling their own stories and illustrating them.

By supporting this DonorsChoose project, you will be putting journals, pencils, crayons, markers, and paper in the hands of my students.

My students love sharing stories about their lives and these journals will give them a place to write it down.

Writing will also help their overall literacy skills. Research has shown that when students receive comprehensive writing instruction, their reading fluency and comprehension improve. Please consider donating to this project and giving my MPS students the opportunity to share their stories and be proud of their work!
