This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Following virtual learning due to the pandemic, many students have become accustom to completing nearly all of their work on the computer. My students with special needs often feel some level of stress when I ask them to rely on their own strengths and not use spell-check or other computer based tools. This is challenging, but an essential part of the learning process!
Please help me provide encouraging colorful pencils, erasers, and stress relieving tools to motivate my students with special needs!
Everyday my students use pencils and pens in the classroom. These items quickly disappear and must often be replaced. A lack of a pencil should not prevent a student from participating in class notes, solving a math problem, or writing an essay. Neither should feeling nervous! Please help me support my students as they become more confident writers and mathematicians!
