My Project

Teaching children to write is my passion. Writing is communication, and fifth graders have a lot to say. When children feel confident, they share joys, fears, successes, and challenges through their writing. Students look forward to writing class and sustain their writing for longer periods of time when they have fun tools to choose from. They love writing with different types of pens like gel pens, brush pens, colored pencils, and mechanical pencils. They tuck their ideas in journals and find their voice. Once this happens there's no stopping them! Please consider donating the tools to make this happen. Thank you.
