My Project

First graders need to practice writing and spelling everyday. Using paper and pencil can get boring. These doodle boards will be a great way to practice spelling and phonics while saving paper. Using reusable materials teaches students to reduce using materials, but still get the practice needed.

Kids love to use all their senses when doing work.

Doodle boards use sight and touch to practice writing. A class set would allow everyone a turn to practice while I am teaching. Kids love to learn and are more engaged when using multiple senses. I hate how much paper we need daily. This would eliminate some of our paper use.
