This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders have been working extremely hard this year. We have used many pencils already. The larger pencils are great as they do not have to be sharpened all the time. The colored pencils would be a fun addition to the classroom. With all the writing, some additional erasers are needed. The highlighters would be used as they find our Secret Stories in words. In addition to pencils, the whiteboard pens are also well used. The magnets would be used to put on the back of picture cards and letters as they build words on the board. These writing tools would be a great addition to the classroom.
