Writing Frenzy

My students need 1 making words activity set, 1 writing skills overhead kit, and 1 stamp draw and write story set.

This project is fully funded

I am a first grade teacher and teach a variety of subject matter from reading/math to science and social studies. The school that I teach in is a Title I school whose students come from a variety of ethnic backgrounds, many of whom do not speak English at home. These elementary students also tend to come from single parent homes, have grandparents raising them or are in financial need. I would love to bring more writing hands on activities into my classroom. The funds to do so are not available due to our school budget this year being drastically cut. I am not financially able to buy the things that I think that my students need to increase their reading and writing skills. Having the variety of reading and writing materials/manipulative's will help my students having a sense of accomplishment and feeling good about themselves. It also allows them to learn on different kinds of levels wit out others knowing that it is different from what they are doing. The materials needed for my project Stamp, Draw & Write Story Center,Writing Skills Overhead Kit - Gr. 1-3 and Making Words Activity Center to help improve my students writing skills. The main reason I am asking for these items is that many of my students struggle with fine motor skills, low reading levels and writing skills. Having these items will increase my students' ability to read and write at their own pace and ability level.
