My students love to write. They are working so hard right now writing their own narrative stories and would greatly benefit from a writing station that is easily accessible and contains all of the materials they need to further their writing.
I have a diverse group of learners in my fourth grade classroom that come from all parts of the world including; Haiti, Mexico, Pakistan, India, Western Caribbean and Nepal.
My students are such hard workers, especially in writing. I can't get them to stop.
My Project
The writing center I am seeking, would allow my students to further their own writing. We need an organized section in our classroom for students to be able to grab tools such as different paper choices, pens, pencils or highlighters. Having these tools accessible to all of my students allows them to grow as learners and to take writing into their own hands. I want to foster the love of writing by giving them easy access to a kid-friendly writing center.
