Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have been researching and talking to other teachers. A big area that students struggle with is writing. I would like to implement a writing center. I have spent the last four months researching what would make a perfect writing center for preschoolers.
If we plan on making writing fun we need to give them options.
I have asked for smelly markers, colored pencils and crayons. This will get students excited cause anything smelly will make students excited. The cart will hold different activities and materials. The students will have stickers to make patterns and tracing letters and shapes. The stamps will be for practicing their name.
All the materials will be used for hands on learning. I want to help create the best and most engaged readers and writers. It is important for us to foster the next generation in writing and creators.
