My Project

My students need help learning to write. Listening to good models of readers helps students be able to be more fluent themselves. They get bored quickly and great narration can model what readers should sound like. I want my students to learn to read this year. In order to achieve my goal, I need some books about class pets that would interest them.

They love to learn, but they need a class pet to take turns bringing home to keep them motivated and interested.

I would love to be able to send writing materials for more home practice. We need a stuffed animal and carrier, books about pets, and notebooks to be able to use this in our classroom. This would give students more practice with the books and more exposure to classic literature at home. Parents love to get involved. This would be a fun homework tool. that would be fun for the families to enjoy together. Some students do not speak English as their first language. More modeling is needed for these students to be successful.

Many of my students are full of energy. This brings a huge challenge in teaching them. Help make learning better in our classroom! We would love some fidgets to help with our wiggly hands. Please help us with some incentives for good behavior.

I try to increase their motivation in reading by making learning fun. With creative ideas and fun activities, students begin to make connections between my classroom and real life. The curriculum continues to get harder, and students must have many opportunities for fun. Many materials that students currently use are boring. Help make a classroom a more fun place to be.
