My Students
Help build our classroom library in adding books about important people throughout history! My students will be learning all about biographies and they would love to have resources to learn more about different people!
My students are a diverse population that come from low income families.
They attend a Title I school and all of my students receive free school breakfast and lunch. They are dedicated to learning and make an effort to attend school everyday. They love to learn and they especially love to read!
My Project
My students would love to have a collection of biography books. These books will enhance their knowledge of the past, present, and future of different impact a person can make. By learning more about how other people have changed the world, they will be able to gain self-awareness on how they can help also.
This project is important to me because I feel every student should be able to read a book that will engage them in learning.
Biographies are also a huge part of nonfiction reading which I feel will better prepare my students for their academic futures!
