Help me give my students journals and art supplies to be creative kindergarteners!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Reinke's classroom raised $200
This project is fully funded
My Students
I have a class of 23 diverse kindergarteners in our school. The background of these students is from affluent to poverty level. I teach the kindergarten inclusion classroom at our school. We meet our students needs by differentiating our instruction.
Our school is large with over 900 students Pre-K through fifth grade.
Our curriculum focuses on student inquiry-based learning with a global perspective. For this age, hands-on learning is essential. We just don't always have the material needed to enhance our students learning.
My Project
Kindergarteners love to create. My students need journals that they will use to write about the important parts of the kindergarten year. This journal will include photos and drawings to show how the child grows throughout the year, not just physically but also their growth as a learner. These journals will go home with the child at the end of the year as a keepsake.
Kindergarten students love using a variety of art material to create.
My students will love using the Kwik tempera markers to create drawings. They also love to use tissue paper to add to their art. Sharpie markers are used to trace their artwork so it pops!
Thank you for helping my students have a memorable journal filled with their kindergarten year.
