This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are entering Kindergarten for the first time. My kiddos love learning and having fun. They enjoy engaging in hands on activities and inquiry studies. They look forward to growing as readers, writers, mathematicians, scientist and community members.
They are creative, expressive, and full of life.
Together they are becoming life-long learners. They are learning how to be responsible and respectful members of our class and school community. They make our class and school a wonderful place to be.
My Project
The storage organizer will help define our writing and art area which is nonexistent. We have the writing and art materials but no place to store them in the classroom to be accessible to students.
Students will have access to writing and art materials independently through out the day.
Having a well define writing and art area separate from the other areas in the room helps students navigate the classroom efficiently. Students will be able to identify where to go to get writing and art supplies. It will facilitate clean up as students will know in what area the materials belong.
