My Project
When students get excited about what they are about to write, it can be discouraging when they don’t have the proper writing tools, such as using broken crayon pieces, dried up markers, or sharing or waiting for such.
When a child can confidently know they have ample crayons and markers without doubt it’ll amplify their detailed stories and drawings, they will feel inspired to share their creativity without feeling limited by their lack of tools in their workspace.
We have started a Writer’s Workshop where the students have a designated time and space to draw pictures, write stories, and create beyond the story told. But what has happened in times past is that the kids found themselves sharing broken pieces of crayons or dried up markers, leaving them discouraged and unmotivated to share write or continue to write.
I want to confidently say that I’ve provided the very best quality and enough writing tools for each and one of my students who each have a story to tell. I want them to know they can and will, with the right tools.
