This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials I’m requesting will directly enhance my students' learning experience by providing them with the resources they need to engage more deeply in developing their writing. For example, the magnetic jumbo paper, the large magnetic sentence strips, the magnetic teaching charts are all hands-on tools to support interactive learning during teacher-student writing lessons. The colorful papers, notebooks, markers, and pencils will help to spark their curiosity during their experience through the writing process. Plus, the timers as technology, the clipboards and folders are tools needed to help my students organize and share writing pieces, while freely moving around the classroom during peer conferencing.

Each item will help foster creativity, critical thinking, and engagement.

With these resources, my students will have the opportunity to fully participate in the writing process, develop new skills, and build confidence in their abilities as authors.
