My Project

The first part of this project is requesting special writer's notebooks to help my students continue to build on writing individual sentences and stronger paragraphs. The students need writing support. After being on a computer for distance learning for so long, I know the students will benefit a great deal from not only the practice in correcting sentences for grammar, but the handwriting practice itself will also be crucial to my new 2nd graders as well.

This project will allow students to have a meaningful experience.

A donation to this project will allow students to have access to writer's notebooks that they might otherwise never see or use. Not only can the students use these as a reference or as a study guide, but it will help their families as well to make that home-school connection. I want this year to be as beneficial for my students as possible in order to continue the learning process. I plan to have them practice correcting sentences daily at the start of our reading lessons together. These notebooks give wonderful examples of correcting issues such as capitalization, using punctuation, and checking for spelling issues. These will be one of the important resources used daily in our ELA class. Thank you.
