This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love illustrating their writing and I love watching it come to life. Throughout the year they learn that you can get so much detail from an illustration as you can from the words on the page. What my students love even more is having the best paper, markers, crayons, and pencils to bring their illustrations to life. Some of my students come in with very basic supplies, if any, and having enough of these materials for groups to share will bring their creativity to life and smiles to their faces.
