Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting dry erase boards to use during whole group and small group instruction. My students can use these in many subjects. They will be able to write math number talks, show their work, build alphabet recognition, and more.
Students can work dependently or with partners using different color dry erase markers to show individual work.
On raining days, these boards will used during other times such as inside recess or simply for free play. During inside recess, my students can draw and practice writing. I can easily access their work by simply walking nearby.
Research has proven that children learn faster with visual learning. These boards allow students to write out what they need to in order to write their learning. They can easily change what they have written with just the wipe of a letter or number. These boards can serve as an independent center to practice any skill.
