Your support has made such a positive difference in my students' daily learning and growth.\r\n\r\nThe laminating machine has been an incredible resource. I've been able to laminate our morning work materials, which students use every day to practice writing their names, numbers, and letters. This not only keeps the materials durable but allows students to revisit and improve their handwriting and letter formation daily.\r\n\r\nThe projector has quickly become a classroom favorite! It's helping students develop their fine motor skills as they focus on tracing projected images. It's also been a wonderful tool for teaching detail—a skill we'll soon apply to our writing as we begin adding more detail to our sentences. Additionally, it's supported our phonics lessons, as students practice writing the words that match the images.\r\n\r\nThe magnetic tiles have inspired creativity and collaboration in ways I didn't anticipate. My students are becoming little engineers, working together to plan and build their designs. These tiles encourage problem-solving, teamwork, and imaginative thinking. Often, students extend their learning by creating letters, numbers, or objects and connecting them to sounds or words we're learning—for example, saying, \"This is a car, and car starts with C!\"\r\n\r\nYour generosity has enriched our classroom in so many ways. It has been beautiful to watch the plants grow and see the life cycle of plants. It has also been delicious to taste the mint and parsley. It has been wonderful to smell the lavender and eucalyptus. \r\nWhile the students learn about the life cycles of plants, they are also learning about sustainability and how they can grow their own food. The students were so excited to receive the materials and they are excited about science every day. The students spend recess time in the garden as well. Your donations made it possible for us to receive much-needed headphones and a cd player (listening center), and the impact on my students has been truly remarkable.\r\n\r\nWith these new resources, my students have been able to focus more deeply on listening to stories, which has significantly improved their listening comprehension skills. They've been excited and engaged every time we use the materials, and this enthusiasm has translated into real academic growth.\r\n\r\nIn addition to better comprehension, I've seen a noticeable improvement in their writing. Listening to stories has inspired them to write about their favorite parts, helping them develop both creativity and writing skills.\r\n\r\nYour kindness and investment in our classroom are making a lasting difference. When they put the names on the cups and the shirts, they use them with pride, knowing that they created them.\r\nIn addition, their writing has improved so much. They find a lot of joy in using smelly pencils, smelly markers and smelly stickers to write every day. They said they feel like true authors. They are extremely excited to illustrate their work. \r\nThese little things have made a big difference in their writing. One student who previously struggled to stay focused is now much more engaged with the lessons, especially with the laser pointer guiding them through the content. The great thing is we have plenty of snacks to do this on a daily basis. \r\nMy students are so grateful. They know that when they do not have food at home, they can ask me for a bag of take home snacks. If they are too shy to say so, then I offer snacks in our treasure box as rewards they can earn just by doing small acts of kindness at school.\r\nMy students are sweet, inquisitive and have the biggest hearts. Some are political refugees, they often come from single parent homes or are being raised by grandparents. Many have amazing stories of overcoming struggles just to get to where they are. Project, our Pre-K students now have engaging new books and learning tools that make reading time truly special. Titles like ¡Solo Pregunta!, El día en que descubres quién eres, and All Are Welcome have introduced our little learners to themes of courage, identity, and inclusion, all at their level. We've also been using The Pigeon HAS to Go to School! For lots of laughs as we talk about starting school, and B is for Breathe to explore positive ways to handle big feelings. These stories spark conversation, imagination, and essential early literacy skills, such as listening, retelling, and connecting text to self.\r\n\r\nOur classroom has also come alive with hands-on exploration thanks to the magnetic letter and number construction set. The students love building letters with the foam shapes, practicing the alphabet in a way that feels like play. This has been especially helpful for our emergent readers who are still connecting sounds to symbols. Even the smallest hands feel successful when they can \"make a B\" or \"spell their name\" with magnets.\r\n\r\nOne of my quieter students has particularly connected with 'All Are Welcome'. He often points to the illustrations and says, \"That's me!\" or \"That's my friend!\", a clear sign that he feels seen and valued through these stories. Watching him and his classmates build confidence, both in reading and in sharing their feelings, has been an inspiring reminder of how powerful these resources are.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our youngest learners are experiencing the joy of stories while also learning that they are valuable and capable in the world.
