My Project
Every day, my TK students walk into the classroom with eyes full of wonder and hearts ready to learn—no challenge is too big for them to tackle. I am incredibly fortunate to work with a group of resilient, curious young learners who are eager to explore the world around them. They face challenges, but their determination to succeed is truly inspiring. This project aims to provide my students with a "Write and Wipe Group Table" for small group instruction, giving them the tools they need to grow in their early literacy and numeracy skills.
What makes my students special is their determination to overcome challenges, and this project will empower them to embrace mistakes as part of the learning process.
The "Write and Wipe Group Table" will allow my students to practice writing letters, numbers, and shapes using dry-erase surfaces in a small group setting. This hands-on approach gives them the opportunity to make mistakes, erase, and try again, fostering a sense of perseverance and confidence. It also supports the development of fine motor skills, as they practice forming letters and numbers.
This item will make a significant difference by providing students with an engaging and sustainable tool to reinforce their learning. The wipeable surface allows for repeated practice without wasting paper, and the small group setting ensures individualized attention, so I can cater to each student’s unique needs.
My goals for this project are to improve my students' writing and motor skills, build their confidence, and encourage a love for learning. By providing them with the "Write and Wipe Group Table," we are giving them a strong foundation for success both in school and beyond.
