My Students
My students are 35 of the most important people in my life. I teach at a Title I school where 100% of our students get free breakfast and lunch.
My students are some of the hardest working people I know.
They come from a variety of backgrounds and living arrangements. Some have traditional family units, and some are from less than ideal situations at home. I want my class to be a haven for each and every one of my students.
My Project
My students are currently using the i-Ready math program. This program calls for students to use personal white boards with fry erase markers to write down their math work. This has worked well but dry erase markers run out quickly and are expensive to replace. Also, our boards have started falling apart and becoming dirty from daily wear and tear.
Having these LCD writing tablets will be a neat and fun way to work on daily problems without the mess of dry erase and the consumption of more markers
I believe the students will participate more when using these tablets.
