Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten students are learning how to write letters, words, and sentences. During small group time, we work closely together to build these important skills.

To support their growth in writing and early literacy, I’m requesting tools that will help them develop correct letter formation, build words, and write simple sentences in an engaging and interactive way.

My students need whiteboards with primary lines so my they can practice writing letters and sentences the right way. I’m also requesting a CVC word game that will help students blend and build CVC words, reinforcing phonics and decoding skills in a fun way. Lastly, alphabet stamps will allow students to physically build words before writing them, helping them connect sounds to letters while developing fine motor skills and confidence in their writing.
