My Students

My second-grade classroom is a place where students can learn and discover new and exciting things each day. They come to school excited and eager to learn, and I want to do everything I can so they can be successful.My students are second graders in a suburban, low-income elementary school.

The changes that are occurring in our classroom are creating positive effects on our students.

I want to bring new and exciting opportunities to my students in order to keep them engaged and excited about learning.

My Project

My students would benefit from this writing bundle immensely! It not only teaches each of the writing standards in second grade, but also has a craft that goes along with each, that includes writing with the craft. This engages the students, and lets them learn while having fun!

My students need hands-on activities throughout the day to help keep them engaged while learning and writing.

They will learn about personal narratives, how-to writing, informational writing, research, autobiographies and biographies, opinion writing, poetry, fiction, fairy tales, and an end of the year writing unit. There is so much in this writing bundle that is beneficial to second grade writers!

With your help, I will be able to purchase this wonderful product which was created by another second grade teacher, along with colored paper to create some amazing writing pieces!
