My students need ten electronic dictionaries to practice and refine their editing skills in writing.
This project expired on July 6, 2012.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Are your students motivated to edit their written work? The use of technology always seems to be motivational for learners, especially in writing. The students in my class would utilize these electronic spellers and dictionaries to edit their written work.
I teach a class of 26 enthusiastic 4th graders.
They love learning and strive to do their best in all academic tasks presented to them. They are focused on their written work and want to become better writers. They become increasingly motivated when some form of technology is integrated into their learning.
The use of these electronic spellers and dictionaries will allow students the opportunity to edit their written work in a more effective manner. Utilizing the technology afforded to us today will end the monotonous task of looking up words in an endless dictionary to edit their work, which can sometimes become frustrating and time consuming.
Choosing to donate to this project will improve the editing skills of my students, which is an important step in the writing process.
They will be able to use current technology to fully develop and hone the skills needed to becoming a writer. Thank you so much for your generous donation.
