My Project

First grade is packed full of important skills to learn! We are beginning to read, developing number sense, and learning how to communicate effectively with our peers.

With so much to learn, we don’t have time to waste!

Half of our current dry erase board is a sheet of shower board. Over the years, it has become stained up and parts of it has ripped off, making it ineffective as a writing surface. We need a dry erase board that can display the content first graders are expected to learn and allow us to move on when we’re ready. This new board will complete the front wall of our classroom by giving us a full dry erase board that easily writes on and wipes off. This project will provide an addition to our environment that will continue to impact students for years to come!
