Help me give my students individual whiteboards, markers and construction paper for classroom use. We use these learning materials daily and they help us to show and practice vital first grade skills.

My Students

I teach in a classroom where most of my students have been given a great start to their early childhood education. These students are energetic and eager to learn. I believe my students deserve to have many valuable resources at their fingertips to keep them engaged and excited about learning.

My classroom is full of students who need a great deal of positive adult attention and must have engaging, innovative ways to stay focused and motivated.

I work hard to keep my students focused and attentive as I teach each day in an effort to give them the greatest chance of success as possible.

Many of these students have had access to technology since very early on in their lives. I want to give them tactile ways to stay engaged in an effort to encourage creativity and imagination.

I strive to be the support and strength my students need to become productive students who are learning and growing each day in all areas. It is my goal to make them feel loved, encouraged, accepted, and successful each and every day.

My Project

Having individual materials for students to use is such an important part of classroom life now that we have COVID to deal with. Being able to provide these materials for my students to use is vital to our success in the classroom.

I will use the whiteboards and markers daily for multiple subjects in the classroom.

We use whiteboards and markers in various ways. Often times I'll have students write their answers on their boards for me to walk around and check quickly. Other times I'll have students use these boards and markers to create drawings that help explain their understanding of topics we've learned about. The construction paper is used to help display their finished pieces inside the classroom and out in the hallway.

These materials will help enhance our learning and make what we are learning about interesting and more fun.
