This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Kids need a variety of language arts tools to make make learning engaging and meaningful. LCD writing boards will allow my students to practice writing letters, numbers, and shapes in a fun way that will hold their attention and promote participation during whole group learning, partner work, and in centers. The dinosaur, unicorn, and cars alphabet track will allow students to match uppercase and lowercase letters and practice sequencing letters while engaging in developmentally appropriate play.
In early childhood and elementary classrooms, play opportunities enhance students' mastery of academic concepts while building motivation to learn.
It's simple: play increases student interest and motivation to learn. By providing our classroom with fun and engaging objects, you're helping me create an environment that promotes purposeful play to increase learning opportunities in the classroom.
