My Project
So many of my students require calming strategies for their body in order for them to learn in class. The soft, weighted lap pads will provide input to help settle their bodies and focus their attention. These kids often struggle to use a writing utensil, or to coordinate movements to print their letters. Streamlined palm weights, slanted boards to write on, and floor lap desks all help make the experience more accessible for them. School budgets can't accommodate specialized materials like these, but your donation will help provide extra support.
