Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Kindergarten students are very energetic. They are excited to start each day and love hands-on activities. They love sharing what they learned each day with their parents and anyone else that will listen.

My students come to school every day eager to learn and try new things.

I love their positive attitudes and bubbly personalities.

For many of my students, this is their first school experience. My students go to a low-income school and do not have many resources at home. I want my students' first school experience to be exciting and memorable.

My Project

My students use boards and markers frequently to practice their writing and math skills. Many of my students struggle to use a pencil and paper but there is something very motivating about a whiteboard and marker that encourages them to try new things. With these materials, I will be able to replenish my supply of whiteboards so they will be able to continue practicing new skills in a fun and inviting way. These new whiteboards are magnetic and they will be able to use the magnetic sight words and letters to add even more practice in a very engaging way.

With your donation, my students will be able to improve upon their writing and math skills.

My students will be given the opportunity to practice the basic skills they need to be successful in school in a very motivating and engaging way.
