Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Help us break the routine! We want to do more hands on science and math activities. My classroom also needs more creative reading activity supplies.
I have a group of very motivated 2nd graders who would love a larger classroom library.
They are so excited about any untraditional lesson we share and really have a passion for learning. These supplies can support current math and science TEKS, experiements and future lessons. These supplies would also benifit reading programs in my room such as Daily Five, Readers Theater, Reader's Workshop and Literacy Stations.
My Project
I would really love to enlarge my classroom resources to help my students reach their full capabilities. The more students can be in front of a large variety of learning style types, the better their skills and knowledge will become. My students need more classroom books and comprehension activities. The supplies requested could support current programs in my room such as Daily Five, Readers Theater, Reader's Workshop, science exploration, math stations and Literacy Stations.
When we learn we can learn best threw true exploration, these math and science supplies can help students with various learning styles.
With the ablity to take topic from description to putting it in my students hands they will be more prepare for future grade levels. Some students may never read on the level they are supposed to at the time they are supposed to, but I am committed to helping my students make over a year's worth of growth and hope to have these supplies to help me do it.
