My Students
I am a 4th-year kindergarten teacher! Teaching is my passion and working with the littlest learners is what I have always felt called to do. My classroom is always full of energy and innovation. I go to work daily with the hope I can give each and every one of my students a loving, safe environment to learn!
I teach kindergarten at a Title I school in Texas.
I currently teach both virtual & face to face students during this unprecedented school year we are having!
Most of the students in my district lived through a rough time in their short lives due to the Hurricane in 2017 and are now faced with the uncertainty of the global pandemic, Covid19. However, these students are resilient and eager to learn. Many of these children are unfortunately lacking basic necessities, but they show up every morning trying their best to smile. My students are survivors and they deserve the best!
My Project
I created this project to get materials for my students end of year projects. We do a lot of fun activities & projects in May ad we end our year in Kindergarten. We do painting projects, memory books, & keepsake crafts that I laminate for the parents to keep for years. My students have missed out on many experiences this year due to the Covid restrictions we have had in place. There have been no field trips, exciting class visitors, & a graduation ceremony. These materials will help us finish up this crazy chaotic year we have had in some kind of fun way!
