My 4th grade students just started school four weeks ago. They are so excited about learning new things and having new experiences in the classroom. Unfortunately, many of my students' families are struggling financially due to the aftershocks of the pandemic.
Sometimes my students don't have clothes that fit and that are seasonally appropriate - especially during the winter.
This project is for a variety of warm, comfy scarves that would fit the boys and girls in my class. These scarves would be perfect to slip into a child's backpack to take home so that they have new clothes that fit them and keep them warm.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
