it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember what it was like to be at school and not have supplies to do your assignments? Lets make the lacking of supplies a thing of the past!
My students come from economically disadvantaged homes.
They are eager to learn, but many times come to school with limited or no school supplies. It's difficult to write a wonderfully descriptive composition without paper or pencils. Sure one can always borrow from a friend, but even that gets bothersome after awhile.
My Project
You can be the change my students need in school. With readily available school supplies, they will be more confident and prepared for school assignments. Your help will enable the boys and girls to feel good about themselves and school by being prepared. Some of the supplies will be placed on a distribution table so that they will be readily available for students to use. The dry erase markers will be used for class drills during math and science. The printer paper will be available for students to use in daily printing of compositions, poems and Internet activities. All students will be given pens for daily writing and corrections.
