My students need plastic organizing drawers to help with organizing their desks and materials. They also need testing privacy folders in order to eliminate the number of folders/items in their desks.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are in an Integrated Co-Teaching setting and are always working on their organization skills. Our students have various disabilities that impair their organizational skills.
We are a class filled with different-abled learners who are always looking to help one another.
They are all sweet and treat one another with great respect and kindness. We are looking for supplies that will help them grow and learn even more in our classroom! We want to create a welcoming and organized classroom for our learners.
My Project
Many of our students struggle with organization skills, which hinders their learning and progress in school. They often lose materials and have a difficult time keeping track of their things. Our students tend to get lost and easily overwhelmed by the amount of materials they are expected to keep track of.
Organization is an important skill for success, which we want to teach and instill in our students.
These drawers will allow our students to keep their desks and work-space organized, while still creating an access point for their materials. Testing folders will also allow for students to keep less items in their desks and free up more space for important materials.
