This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These books will not only help my senior students engage in adult conversation, but they will give them a break from using their computers.
Graphic novels need to be seen in print.
This memoir will give students a brief history of what goes on around the world and will also give them the visuals to grapple worldly issues they will confront in the future.
Students are also asked to reflect on their own lives and Marjane Satrapi's memoir gives them a whole new perspective; juxtaposing both their life stories with Satrapi's makes for excellent discussions.
