My Project

Often times when teaching books about World War II we only focus on what happened in Germany. But what about what happened in the US with Japanese Internment Camps? Or Navajo soldiers who ended up being code talkers during the war? What about strong young females who helped hide Jewish people in Poland? What about the Soviet submarine that sunk the Wilhelm Gustloff--a ship that was helping refugees escape?

All around the world during World War II people were being valiant, and helping to make a difference.

These stories deserve to be told, and students deserve to learn about them.
