My Project

In Kindergarten, one of our state standards is to introduce students to different cultures. One of the best ways we can do those is by teaching about the holidays celebrated in different cultures.

My project is for books featuring holidays and how they are celebrated in different countries and cultures.

My students and I will be able to read these books and learn about different holidays and compare how they are similar or different than our own. It will help them learn more about the world around them, especially as they learn that not everyone celebrates exactly as they do!
