My Project
My elementary music students love playing instruments, and drumming is one of their favorite activities. However, we don’t have enough drums for every child to fully participate, which means some students have to wait their turn instead of playing along with the group. Adding two new tubano drums to our classroom would allow more students to actively engage in music-making. These high-quality drums are perfect for young learners, as they produce a rich sound and are easy to play. More drums mean more hands-on learning, more excitement, and a stronger sense of teamwork in our music class!
With these new tubano drums, my goal is to help students develop independence in playing rhythms.
Drumming not only reinforces beat and rhythm skills, but it also builds confidence, coordination, and collaboration. My students are special because they truly love making music together and are always willing to share instruments when needed. Having more drums will allow them to take ownership of their learning and experience the joy of drumming without limitations. Your support will make a lasting impact on my students, giving them the tools they need to grow as young musicians
