This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students and I are embarking on a journey that is still in its infancy. We are a representative sample of our community and come from all different walks of lives.
We need your help with resources to be World changers!
As a public charter school we focus on student-centered, collaborative, active and discovery driven learning that is Place-Based and geared towards conflict resolution skills and self-actualization.
Because you have decided to donate, your selflessness will be a constant example of the compassion that still exists in our World. We wish you peace and are grateful for your donation!
My Project
Your help will allow our classroom to be student-centered, collaborative, active, and discovery driven. With the use of flexible seating like the Stability Wobble Cushion and the ease to work and move around the classroom using the Clipboard Dry Erase Surface 9'' x 12.5'' Letter Size Low Profile Clip Whiteboard, my students will form and explore their own questions, conduct real experiments, read books they love, work on teams to solve problems, and spend time diving deep into their personal interests. However, they won't be able to do those things without these resources and the number of arts and craft supplies on our list!
Because you decided to help our class, we can focus on being immersed in our local heritage, cultures, and landscapes; and have opportunities and experiences that blur the lines between school and real life.
We'll be able to better connect to our community and participate in service-learning projects as a way to learn about how our communities and people are interconnected.
Your compassion and support will be a daily reminder of the good that is still available in our World.
