Workspace and Storage for Young Artists!

Help me give my students space and storage to create! The tables will provide much needed work space while allowing for material storage below.

My Students

Our neighborhood school is doing great things with our kids! We have a strong sense of community and family and really care for our kids. We're proud to provide choice to students whenever possible in every subject - and this is particularly true in art.

We are now in the fourth year of our visual arts program and strive to provide a choice-based (TAB) program.

It was so exciting watching the kids grow and learn about new art materials, media and techniques last year, and I'm so excited to continue it this year. They are so excited to come in and explore, experiment and express themselves.

My Project

We are a neighborhood school on the South Side of Chicago full of creative and energetic kids.

We are also a small school in a small building without enough space, so our Art Room is in a 50+ year old mobile unit behind the school.

Although this space allows us to create, it lacks a closet, shelving and enough room for good work space.

Right now, we have a hodgepodge of furniture that is not in great shape. I want our art room to be more functional and inviting for a creative environment.

These tables will provide additional student work space while the rolling carts can store materials underneath while not taking any of our valuable space!
