This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, sincere, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging activities and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They also enjoy challenging one another as well. This is the most appreciative bunch of kids that I have every had the privilege to teach!

Each child in my classroom comes to school with a smile and ready to learn!

They often tell me that they do not like being at home because they love going to school so much. When I hear that, I am encouraged to make sure that my classroom is a safe and comfortable environment for each of my students. My students love to have choice and variety. We do small group, independent work, partner stations, whole group, and group work. My students are so much fun to teach because they genuinely love to learn.

My Project

My students love to learn but they also love to wiggle during that time and do not like to sit still. These wobble chairs will help my students to stay engaged and eager to learn during our small group instruction for guided reading, guided math, writer's workshop, and interventions.

With these new chairs, my students will be able to be active while learning at the same time.

My students will not be confined to a regular classroom chair. I know how excited, anxious, and grateful my students are for this wonderful opportunity. Please help this little dream of ours to come true!
