Working Technologies Enhance Teaching and Learning

My Project
I am teaching 25 lively kindergarteners in a Hmong dual language immersion program at a school in South Sacramento, California. We are a Title I school where every student receives free or reduced lunches.
My scholars are eager to learn and explore both the English and Hmong languages, cultures, and histories.
I rely heavily on the 10+ years HP laptop for teaching, taking attendance, playing video clips to build student background knowledge, lesson planning, grading, generating progress reports, and report cards, taking notes during grade level meetings, composing and replying to emails, holding video/online meetings with parents and staff, and analyzing student data via academic conferences, among many other things. Moreover, I use the 6+ years printer to print my student learning activities and homework assignments daily. Currently, the HP laptop and printer are no longer working effectively. Some of the keys on the keyboard no longer work when I type, and the printer is also slowly dying.
Without a working laptop and printer, I become less effective as a teacher. As a result, it also impacts my students' learning. I strongly believe that their academic performance will improve if I have the proper and working tools to support them.
