it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I am teaching the sweetest group of 5th graders in an ICT classroom. We have lunch very late and they tend to get hungry. The population that I work with does not have extra money to buy snacks, and the students have to wait for school lunch to eat. I would love to set up a classroom store where the students can purchase snacks with money they earn throughout the day. This will not only help them learn about money and correct change, but it will also help them stay focused. Kids should never be hungry at school so having snacks for them would be very helpful.
