My Students
Our band of Mighty Scots are a wonderful group. We are reaching amazing potential through motivation, commitment, and natural talent. Most importantly, we understand that goals can only be surpassed if we musically work together to make great things happen in the program.
These musicians look forward to tackling new and artistic challenges daily.
We prepare our success by doing warm-ups and exercises that improve tone, balance, color, and overall musicianship. These concepts help them create wonderful music and provide tools to creating an aesthetic experience.
My Project
Marching tenor drums will complete the overall sound of our drumline. Our fans really love the way that they sound with the pitches going from high to low. Most high school and collegiate drumlines have achieved great sound with the help of tenor drums. As a middle school program, we want to be just like them and take our band program to the next level.
Playing tenor drums improves your literacy as well as eye -hand coordination.
There are four drums you have to concentrate on correctly performing. Furthermore, they also have to read and analyze music that goes with each of those drums. Having tenor drums will easily improve student learning.
